The Bell Super AIR was designed to replace the Super 3/R in the Bell Product Line

The helmet was designed from the ground up to push the boundaries of performance and versatility.

As the lead engineer for the Super Air/R, I drove the concept, engineering, ID, and development of this project.

The intention of the design of this helmet was to improve on every feature of it's predecessor, the Bell Super 3. 

I set out to make the Chinbar-mechanism more intuitive and ergonomically-friendly while wearing the helmet.

Reducing the weight and vastly improving airflow and cooling were must-have features, as well.

Finally, we integrated Bell's Sperical-MIPS system, that we developed during the creation of the Super DH.
