​Precision Cook System- Product launch, Spring 2026

​

August 2023 through July 2025 i was the lead engineer on the soon-to-be-released precision-cook system from Jetboil.​ 

 

The precision-cook system is the companion to Jetboil's "fast boil" Flash and Zip stoves.  

It features an adjustable flame in a tidy, user-friendly package that improves upon Jetboil's current Mo line of stoves (SuMo, MiniMo).

The system is geared towards cooking on the trail or in the trailhead parking lot for one-person or a group of hungry outdoors-folk.

 

During the development process I developed a prototype burner concept into a finished precision-cook stove system.

Through testing, refinement, and relentless development I turned this prototype into a fully-functioning stove that is certified by CSA, CE, AGA & JIA.

In addition, I also developed a line of cookpots intended to function specifically with this stove, taking advantage of a clever integrated pot-support system.
